Kearney Officers to Serve Diners at Shop with a Cop Fundraiser

Kearney police officers will trade their usual duties for serving trays Tuesday, November 10, when Giambalvo’s hosts a fundraiser for Shop with a Cop.

The event runs from 5 to 8 p.m. All tips earned by the participating officers will go directly to the program, which helps brighten the holidays for local children. Diners can also contribute by ordering an officer’s signature dish, with 50% of the proceeds from those dishes donated to the cause.

Cpl. Dotson will feature Meat Lasagna, while Officer Tilsworth’s dish is Rosé Pasta. Sgt. Westerfield will serve the K-Towner, and Sgt. Lamanna will feature Brink’s Favorite.

The evening will also include some friendly competition as the officers vie to collect the most tips and find out which signature dish is most popular with diners.

Residents are invited to come out for dinner and support Shop with a Cop through their orders and tips.
